i'm so glad you are here- let me tell you what we are all about here in our Tribe
The rest of the tribe is my husband, Matt, and our two girls, Christine & Taylor.
We started traveling on a budget several years ago out of necessity. But after realizing how many affordable adventures you can have here in Texas, it quickly became a passion of ours. We love epic roadtrips that take us to places that are off the beaten path but bucket list worthy.
When I was young I spent my summers exploring the Hill Country with my cousins and Grandparents, and I’m pretty sure that’s where this passion began. After traveling with my tribe, my next favorite thing to do is going to concerts.
Matt is our Casual Cowboy. He’s the fixer of all things, the best “girl dad” around, and he works hard to make sure all of our trails are happy. He builds houses during the week and campfires on the weekend.
Christine is our oldest and she might be too cool for mom and dad, but never too cool for a Texas sized adventure. She's smart and creative with an eye for fashion and design. And she’s crushing her current adventure in middle school.
Taylor is our youngest and she’s our little mutton bustin, rope swinging, always on the go girl. There are basically no thrills she wouldn’t seek. And she’s pretty aggressive on the soccer field.
We’re RV owners but not full timers. When the world changed and the covid pandemic began we were actually camping in a rented RV. 9 months later after realizing it was the safest way for us to keep exploring, we bought one and try to camp in it monthly.
We’re outdoor enthusiasts, which often influences our travel destinations and activities. State and National Parks are our favorite places to visit.
